About Holy Comforter
Holy Comforter Episcopal Church is a diverse worshiping community in the heart of Atlanta that seeks to restore all people to unity with God & with each other
About 60% of this congregation lives with mental illness and all of us participate in the life of this community. You are welcome to join us for Wednesday Evening Worship service and community dinner - worship at 6:30pm (dinner following) or for Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 10:30 am. We also gather for the Friendship Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Friendship Center is a community supported day program for people living with severe and chronic mental illness. You can learn more about the Friendship center on their website: friendshipcenter-atlanta.org
Support for the Friendship Center and Holy Comforter comes from the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta and various parishes and foundations. Almost 50% of our support comes from individuals like you!
